WOOT sword makes a comback (New sword skills)
Finally Sword has been given 2 powerful elites that work in more situations then HB.
Many thanks to Guildwiki. http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Skills_by_Campaign
Dragon Slash 10 A
If Dragon Slash hits, you strike for +10...34 damage and gain 1...4 strikes of adrenaline.
Quivering Blade 4 A
If Quivering Blade hits, you strike for +10...34 damage. If it is "blocked", Quivering Blade is disabled for 4 seconds, and you are Dazed for 5 seconds.
Dragon Slash is my personal favorite. Combined with "For Great Justice" it can be recharged and spammed.
Quivering Blade can be combined with Plague Touch to put Dazed on a caster who just blocked it with Guardian or something.
anyways anyone else like the new sword skills?

I don't even get the 5 seconds of Dazed. By the time you realize it was blocked and go to cast Plague Touch, you've lost 1 1/2-2 seconds anyway. 3 seconds of Dazed isn't much.
I don't like the self-disabling Elite. I also don't like the hammer elite that knocks YOU down if it doesn't hit. Hammers are being made more gay with each chapter. Please just remove them from the game.

I messed around with quivering blade and found it to be awesome mostly because it's very spammable.

Dolyak signet would be better for the extra armor

And worse for the no-cancel 75% slowdown. Dolyak Signet should be renamed 'Signet of PvE.'

Dolyak Signet is great for PvP Spirit Spammers. R/W's take it along with Whirling Defense and its just long enough so you dont get KD'd while laying down a set of spirits.

And that's about the only reason to bring to PvP.
Dragon Slash seems to be teh god when it comes to dps-degen Sword Warriors. I mean Sever+Gash+DS can be spammed pretty fast.

I know I am a noob warrior. (I really do hate melee types and archer types.) Why DS after sever + gash? So that DS helps gain adrenaline for your next combo?

Ever watch Last Pride wars hammer lock monks in GWC? Maybe you should learn to play one before making half assed comments about them.
Edit: And to stay on topic, Dragon Slash does seem to be pretty cool. But Sun and Moon is also a welcome addition to the anti evade/block list.

Geez, Melkor, no flaming please. kvndoom is an experienced player and has the right to his own opinion. PvE is VERY different from PvP hammerwise. PvP is the only major use for hammers, although more experienced wars use them in PvE sometimes.

Calling out bs comments is now considered flaming? And please, I have used all three weapons extensively (Axes most, swords least) in both PvP and PvE so dont bother.
And calling out to remove an item from a game is not an "opinion", thinking hammers suck is one (though incorrect).
If this is what you consider an experienced player, I am afraid to think about who is an in-experienced player in your eyes.
Anyways, I am not big on trolling and such, wrong is wrong, and I dont realy care who says it.

Id rather see a buff to hundred blades has to potential to be worth the elite slot if anet would ever make it so.
